Bel'Veth, the Empress of the Void

It's been an absolute honor and pleasure to create the base splash for Bel'Veth, the Empress of the Void. She's an amazing character, a ruthless and regal queen that is seeking to consume knowledge, emotions, memory and eventually Runeterra so the Void can recreate itself out of it ! She presents herself as an Empress, or at least what she thinks an empress is from the knowledge she has consummed, and that was my main starting point on the splash. There was a visual opportunity to play with the contrast of her being a monstrous Voidborn, as well as her desire to communicate with the living world and therefore take a more recognizable form. I was inspired by a particular moment from the "beyond the Aquila rift" episode in Love, Death and Robots, where things seem to be a certain way, but if you look carefully, they aren't ... :-)))
